Our Mission: To offer a safe haven for horses and horse lovers, whether to board, ride, attend a clinic, get help, hang out, or a safe place to leave your horse while you enjoy a stay in nearby Laughlin, Nevada. Call ahead and we will ready your horse for a ride. We will be here to watch over your horse.
All horses entering Horse Nut Stables will require current coggins and west nile vaccinations.
Welcome to beautiful Golden Valley, Arizona. We have a CHA Certified Professional Instructor on site. We are now available for boarding and overnighters. We have 40 fenced acres and a safe place for you and your horse.
1 round pen, 1 large Dressage Arena (more arenas are planned) and several RV spaces. Cabins will come later. 30 minutes from Laughlin, 2 hrs. from Las Vegas.
We have miles of riding in all directions.
We are doing lessons and horse training now.

Patience, Care, and Compassion
Horses are just beautiful. Every horse has a unique personality and disposition. Because of this, every horse needs to be trained differently. This requires a unique trainer, with a wide range of experience and a wealth of knowledge. Whether you need training on a young horse, or an older horse, you'll get expert guidance to effectively train you and your horse together. As you love your horse, you can count on Karen to train with love and compassion. With over 40 years experience she will apply safety first, for you and your horse.
If you are looking for a horse, Karen will help you find the right horse for you. She'll help you outfit your new horse, teach you the proper care and how to make a good place for him to live on your land or we will board him for you.
She'll teach you about bits, what they do and how they fit. She'll teach you about the proper bridle and how important it is to have the right saddle. Healthcare for your horse, their feet, eyes, weight, color, things to look for to prevent costly vet bills and heartache when your best friend is sick. Diet is important. She'll teach you correct posture and how to communicate with your horse with leg and body movement. If a horse can feel a fly on his backside why wouldn't he feel every move you make? There is so much to learn. But the rewards are well worth it.
Your horse wants to please you and make you happy. He is always there for you, he listens to your problems and never lies, steals, or cheats you. He is your best friend. These are the things that make us Nuts about Horses.
BOARDING:
Karen has studied diets for horses for years and has a basic stable diet that will be fed to our boarded horses. Any extra vitamins or supplements will be supplied by owner. Boarding will include basic feed, exercise for your horse, and a couple lessons to help keep you informed on the latest ideas and technology.
Your horse will get the same special care as our horses.
